OTET 2024 examination is considered a basic eligibility test for teaching jobs in the schools in Odisha.
NEW DELHI: Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has announced the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2024 result today, November 22. Candidates who have appeared for the eligibility test can download the Odisha TET result 2024 through the official website of BSE Odisha at bseodisha.ac.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the Odisha TET 2024 result.
The OMR sheet, digitized certificate of Odisha TET, scoring key of OTET have also been released along with the results. The OTET 2024 provisional answer key was released on September 19 and the objection window was closed on September 28, 2024.
The Odisha TET 2024 examination was conducted on August 12, 2024. The examination is considered a basic eligibility test for teaching jobs in the schools in Odisha. According to the Right to Education Act, it is compulsory for teachers to have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in order to be eligible for teaching positions in primary and middle schools.
Odisha TET 2024 qualifying marks
The minimum qualifying marks for Odisha TET 2024 are a crucial factor that determines whether a candidate qualifies for the eligibility certificate. The qualifying marks for the OTET have been set at 60% for the General category, which translates to 90 marks out of 150. The OTET consists of two papers:
- Paper-I : For those applying to teach classes I to V (Primary Stage).
- Paper-II : For those applying to teach classes VI to VIII (Upper Primary Stage).The exam is multiple-choice in nature and assesses subjects like child development, pedagogy, language, and subject-specific knowledge.

- Visit the official website of BSE Odisha at bseodisha.ac.in.
- Click on OTET Result 2024 link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the login details.
- Click on submit and your result will be displayed.
- Check the result and download the page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
