OJEE 2024 counselling begins for lateral entry courses at ojee.nic.in; eligibility

OJEE 2024 Counselling: For BTech lateral entry, LE-tech rank holders will be allotted seats first, followed by BSc degree rank holders.
NEW DELHI: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has commenced the OJEE 2024 counselling registration for Lateral Entry (LE) courses- BTech (LE Tech for diploma candidates) and B Pharm (LE Pharm for DPharm candidates). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for OJEE 2024 counselling by visiting the official website, ojee.nic.in.
Candidates who complete registration, pay the OJEE 2024 counselling fee, fill and lock choices are eligible for seat allotment. Withdrawal is available only through online mode. For lateral entry seats under BTech, seats will first be allotted to Diploma holders (LE-Tech-Diploma), followed by BSc degree holders (LE-Tech-BSc).
OJEE 2024 Lateral Entry Counselling: Reservation criteria
As per the official brochure, there is no reservation for admission into the LE BTech programme for Engineering (for Diploma Holders) and for admission into LE BTech (for +3 Sc, BSc degree holders), except for vacant seats under the EWS category from the previous year, 5% for Physically Challenged (PWD), and 5% for TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) seats (Supernumerary). The TFW supernumerary seats will only be available for courses in an institution where at least 50% of the "Approved Intake" were filled in the last academic year.
OJEE 2024 Lateral Entry Admission: Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for lateral entry into the Tech programme require general category candidates to have passed a minimum 3-year or 2-year (lateral entry) diploma examination with at least 45% marks, while SC and ST candidates need at least 40% marks. For lateral entry into the BPharm programme, general category candidates are required to have passed a diploma in pharmacy (D Pharm) with at least 45% marks, whereas SC and ST candidates need 40% marks.

Candidates are required to upload the following documents for OJEE 2024 counselling.
- JEE Main 2024 or OJEE 2024 rank card
- Class 10 marksheet
- Diploma certificate
- Valid photo Id
- Class 12 marksheet or certificate
- School or college leaving certificate
- Nativity or residence certificate
- Caste certificate
- Income certificate
- EWS certificate
