OSSC CGL Recruitment 2024: A total of 595 vacancies are to be filled.
NEW DELHI: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has issued an official notification announcing the examination date for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) recruitment examination 2024, through which various group-B and C posts across different departments will be recruited. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the OSSC CGL recruitment 2024 by visiting the official website, ossc.gov.in.
According to OSSC's official notice, online applications will be accepted beginning April 5 and the last to apply is May 2. OSSC CGL 2024 exams are tentatively scheduled to be held in July-September. The commission aims to fill up a total of 595 vacancies under this recruitment drive.
OSSC CGL Recruitment 2024: Eligibility
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. They should also be familiar with computers, including the ability to access the internet, e-mail, word processing, data analysis, and presentation software.
Candidates applying for OSSC CGL Recruitment 2024 should be between the ages of 21 and 38 as of January 1, 2024.

OSSC CGL Recruitment 2024: Selection process
The OSSC CGL 2024 selection process includes Prelims, Main exam, computer skill test and certificate verification. The Prelim exam will be held in computer-based mode. The Preliminary exam will carry 150 marks whereas, the Main examination will be of 200 marks.
Candidates numbering a minimum of five times of the vacancies category-wise will be shortlisted for the Main written examination based on their marks secured in the Preliminary examination.
