Panjab University revises PUTHAT 2025 registration deadline for hospitality, tourism course; apply by April 16

Panjab University 2025 Admissions: The PUTHAT 2025 admit card will be issued on April 23 and the aptitude test will be conducted on April 25 in a single shift.
NEW DELHI: Panjab University has revised the deadline to register for the Panjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT) 2025. Eligible candidates can now apply for the test before April 16 through the official website at puchd.ac.in.
The university conducts the PUTHAT 2025 entrance exam for admission to its four-year undergraduate (UG) programmes in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM).
The PUTHAT 2025 admit card will be issued on April 23 and the aptitude test will be conducted on April 25 in a single shift. The exam will be held from 10 am to 11:30 am in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.
The university will hold the PUTHAT 2025 entrance test at only one location, in Chandigarh and the results will be declared tentatively on May 14.

PUTHAT 2025: Eligibility, syllabus
Candidates, who have passed (up to the academic session 2024-25) in the 10+2 exams of the CBSE or its equivalent examinations with at least 50% marks aggregate and English as one of the compulsory subjects are eligible to sit for the PUTHAT 2025.
Applicants belonging to the Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Backward Classes, Persons with Disability categories should have 45% or more in class 12 to be able to appear for the aptitude test.
“The candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 Examinations of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are ineligible to appear in PUTHAT-2025, as this institution has been derecognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh,” the university said.
The PUTHAT 2025 question paper will consist of 100 questions where candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct response. 25% marks will be deducted for each wrong response. The aptitude test will be held in the English language only.
