PAU Admission 2024: Registration last date extended for UG, PG; late fee, selection policy

Punjab Agricultural University will close the PAU admission 2024 registration window today. However, candidates will be able to apply with late fees till May 31.
NEW DELHI: Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana will close the registration window today for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) admission without late fee. Students seeking PAU admission 2024 will be given one more opportunity to fill the application form with late fee till May 31 through the official website, pau.edu.
Those who fail to register before the deadline will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,000 to submit the application form by May 31. As per the PAU entrance exam date 2024, the university will conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) for BSc agriculture aspirants on June 16, the Ballowal Saunkhri Entrance Test (BSET) will be held on June 11, and Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT) on June 23. Candidates should note that the PAU admit card 2024 for the entrance exam will be uploaded seven days before the test.
The university also offers admission to some courses without an entrance exam. These include 4-year BSc (Hons) Community Science, 4-year BSc (Hons) Fashion Designing, MTech Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS), 2-year Master of Computer Application (MCA), diploma in agriculture, 1-year certificate course in early childhood care and education and in interior design and decoration.
For MBA and MTech Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System, 85% seats will be reserved for state domicile candidates and 15% seats for candidates of other states.
In self-supporting programmes, 15% additional seats will be reserved for the candidates of other states.
The university will be conducting additional counselling for UG admission on the basis of the PAU entrance test. If the seats remain unfilled, admission will be offered on an All India basis by calling applications based on Class 12 marks. However, PAU PhD admission will be on All-India basis.
Candidates will have to pay Rs 3,500 for each entrance test and those applying for multiple entrance tests will have to pay additional Rs 1,500 for each exam.
