PGIMER 2019 Result for July session to be released today by evening; officials confirmed!

NEW DELHI; May 28: The result of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) 2019 for July session is to be released today on May 28. As per the officials, the result will be announced by evening in the form of merit list. PGIMER test takers can check their results from pgimer.edu.in. The qualified aspirants can download their individual scorecards in the last week of May.
PGI, Chandigarh conducted PGIMER (July session) on May 26, for admission to as many as 223 Masters of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) courses offered by the authority. Below are the steps mentioned below to download the results.

The result-cum-merit list will be released online mentioning name, date of birth, category, roll number, percentile secured, overall rank and category rank.
PGIMER Cutoff 2019
Only aspirants securing the minimum qualifying percentile will be eligible to qualify the exam and appear for counselling process. PGIMER, Chandigarh has already released the cutoff percentile along with the application form, which has been mentioned in the table below.

On the basis of the qualifying percentile, the authority will release a total of nine category-wise PGIMER rank list 2019 for July session. The category-wise merit list will be released for General, OBC, SC, ST, RAC, PWD, Sponsored candidates, Foreign Nationals and Bhutanese Nationals.
In case of two or more candidates securing equal marks, the tie-breaking method will be followed by the examination authority. As per the methodology, first of all, aspirants with higher marks in MBBS will be given higher rank. If the tie still persists, candidates with more aggregate marks will be allotted better rank. At last, the elder candidate will be provided better rank than the younger ones.
PGIMER Counselling 2019
The qualified candidates will be called for PGIMER 2019 counselling July session, which will begin from June 14, in offline mode. Aspirants have to report at the Bhargava Auditorium, PGI Chandigarh at 11:00 AM, according to their All India Rank. In order to take care of absentees, the number of candidates called for counselling will be three times more than the number of seats available. Students who will not be physically present will not be eligible for counselling process.
