PGIMER 2020 exam tomorrow; important exam guidelines for candidates

NEW DELHI: The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh is going to conduct the entrance examination of PGIMER 2020 July session for 295 Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats on June 14, 2020. The examination will be held in the computer-test mode in 41 centres. The PGIMER 2020 admit card has been issued on June 8 for all the registered aspirants.
As per the notice released on June 9, 2020, the current batch is about to complete their post-graduation period on June 30, therefore, it is important for the authority to conduct the exam on the given date as patient care in a hospital cannot be compromised. And considering the current COVID 19 crisis is still at its peak, PGI Chandigarh has set some safety guidelines, which must be followed in order to avoid any unwanted circumstances later. The important points to keep in mind to appear for PGIMER 2020 admit card has been mentioned below.
PGIMER 2020 exam - Important Points
Listed below are some collective safety measures to be followed by each aspirant.
Face Mask - Each aspirant is required to wear a face mask to take safety measures. It is be noted that students will not get permission to enter the examination hall without a face mask.
Avoid Crowd Outside the Exam Centres- Candidates must avoid crowding the place. Entry to the exam centre will be staggered to avoid crowding.
Aarogya Setu App- Aspirants also need to download the Aarogya Setu App in their mobile phones.
Hand hygiene - All aspirants shall be required to follow the hand-hygiene procedure at entry, registration and in the examination hall. Provisions for thermal scanning, hand wash, and sanitizers are also made at all the centres.
No Personal Belonging - As directed in the admit card of PGIMER 2020, candidates are not permitted to take anything in the examination hall other than the PGIMER 2020.
No close contact - Aspirants are advised to keep a certain amount of distance to each other and avoid any close contact.
(Note: Any candidates with COVID 9 symptoms will not be permitted to appear for the PGIMER 2020 exam)
About PGIMER 2020
The entrance examination of PGIMER 2020 will comprise a total of 250 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the MBBS curriculum, wherein three hours will be given to the aspirants to complete the test.
