NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the participants on teachers’ day celebration by the ministry of education on September 7, the education ministry announced on social media.
The Education Ministry said that it will organise a webinar on 10 themes on the occasion and people can participate by asking questions on those topics.

“The Ministry of Education is celebrating the Teachers’ Day wherein Hon’ble PM will be addressing the participants on 7th September at 11 AM. Be a part of the celebration by asking questions on 10 themes on which webinar will be held,” the Ministry of Education said in a social media post.

Be a part of the celebration by asking questions on 10 themes on which webinar’s will be held.
The education ministry also asked people to ask their questions on the themes like holistic progress card, vocational education and skill building, nurturing inclusive classrooms, promoting quality and sustainable schools, foundational literacy and numeracy, national digital education architecture (NDEAR), etc.

The Department of School Education and Literacy (DOSEL) announced the celebration of Shikshak Parv-2021 from September 5 to 17 through online mode to recognise the contributions of teachers and take the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 one step forward.
“Prime Minister will be launching five initiatives of the Department, that is, Indian Sign Language dictionary of 10,000 words, Talking Books (audio books for visually impaired), School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (SQAAF) of CBSE, NISTHA teachers' training programme for NIPUN Bharat, and Vidyanjali Portal (for facilitating education volunteers, donors or CSR contributors for school development),” Vipin Kumar, joint secretary of DOSEL said.
Moreover, President Ram Nath Kovind will confer the National Teachers Awards 2021 to 44 selected teachers on Teacher's Day 2021 to be held on September 5.
