NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be interacting with students and teachers at the annual Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021 event which will be broadcasted live at 7 pm. Pariksha Pe Charcha will be held in virtual mode for the first time since its inception in 2017.

Students selected through the Pariksha Pe Charcha contest will be allowed to directly ask questions to the prime minister.

PM Modi said that there will be “a new format, several interesting questions on a wide range of subjects” this year at the event. According to figures by the ministry of education, 14 lakh students have already registered for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021.

The interaction will be centered on exams and dealing with exam stress ahead of the annual board examinations across schools in India.

Last year, the Pariksha Pe Charcha was held in Delhi and PM Modi spoke in front of 2,000 selected students from across the country. Students had also moderated the event in 2020 for the first time since its inception.

Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021 will be telecasted live at 7 pm through the social media handles of PM Modi and the centre’s Press Information Bureau.
