Pondicherry University distance learning admission underway at dde.pondiuni.edu.in; apply till March 31

Pondicherry University offers 20 UG, PG and MBA programmes through distance learning, which are recognised by AICTE and UGC-DEB.
NEW DELHI: The Pondicherry University directorate of distance education has started the admission process for various distance learning programmes for the academic year 2024. Candidates can apply for undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA programmes till March 31 on the official website, dde.pondiuni.edu.in.
The directorate of distance education of the university offers a total of 20 degree programmes. Students can opt for MBA degrees in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, General, Tourism, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Hospital Management. The university offers four PG degrees programmes, including MCom (Finance) and MA in English, Hindi and Sociology. It also offers eight UG degree programmes in BBA, BCom, BA in English, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, and Journalism and Mass Communication). These degree programmes are recognised and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education and the Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB), New Delhi.
Documents required
Applicants will have to upload scanned copies of the following documents
- Class 10 or equivalent mark sheet
- Class 122 or its equivalent mark statement
- Degree or provisional certificate of the qualifying degree (Only for PG and MBA degree programmes)
- Passport size photo
- Aadhar card
- Fee Concession category certificate, if applicable
If the documents are not legible, applications will be summarily rejected, the university said.

The university will offer 100% tuition fee concession for differently-abled persons. It will also offer 50% tuition fee concession to defence personnel serving in armed and para-military forces, non-teaching employee of the university and their wards (Group B, C & D only), widows, deserted Women, prisoners and transgenders.
