NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will close the application process of the January admission 2024. Students applying for the open and distance learning (ODL) and online learning (OL) programmes on the official website, ignou.ac.in. The IGNOU will also close the re-registration window for the January session 2024 without late fee today.
Candidates applying for the first time for an IGNOU programme will have to register on the university’s portal. The IGNOU has advised the applicants to provide correct mobile number and e-mail ID as the confirmation and other updates on admission and course will be sent on these.
If a candidate has already registered on the portal, he/she can access the portal using the username and password. In case of any difficulty in registering on the portal, candidates should approach the regional centre for re-setting of the account and updating the email ID or mobile number
Candidates have to pay a non-refundable registration fee, along with the program fee of the first semester/year at the time of admission. The fee can be paid using net banking, UPI and credit or debit card. In case online payment does not get updated, the candidate should not make the second payment immediately. The IGNOU has advised the candidates to wait for a day, check the payment status and then try to pay the fee again.
