Pondicherry University open spot admission 2024 for UG, BTech tomorrow; seat matrix, eligibility

NEW DELHI: Pondicherry University will be conducting spot admission tomorrow for various 4-year undergraduate (UG) and BTech programmes based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024) score. The vacant seats will be filled up on the basis of rank under the single window system, the university said.
“Pondicherry University has decided to fill-up the vacant seats by SPOT ADMISSION inviting applicants by Rank-wise under Single Window System to various 4-Year U.G. (Hons.) / B.Tech. Programmes, based on the results of CUET(UG) – 2024 on 18th October, 2024 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon,” the official statement read.
Interested candidates will have to physically report to the respective Head of the Department. They are required to carry all necessary original documents to avail admission through spot round.
Pondicherry University open spot admission for BA Media and Communication will be held on October 18 between 10 am to 12 pm at the Department of Electronic Media and Mass Communication, School of Media and Communication. As per the eligibility criteria, students should have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%, and SC, ST candidates should have obtained at least 45% to be eligible.
“Only limited seats are available in the Hostels. Hostel Admission is subject to availability of rooms,” it added.
Spot admission for the Bachelor of Visual Arts –Painting (BVA) will also be held in the same venue tomorrow at 10 am. Admissions will be offered based on the preferences given below.
Preference 1 - Candidates who have appeared in the CUET UG 2024 for the respective UG programme and fulfil the required eligibility criteria.
Preference 2 - Candidates who have not appeared in the CUET UG but fulfil the eligibility criteria for respective courses as mentioned in the information brochure.
