PSEB Class 12th result declared; pass percentage increases to 65.97

NEW DELHI, APRIL 23: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the PSEB Class 12 result.The Board has registered a pass percentage of 65.97 per cent. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website of the Punjab school Board - pseb.ac.in. While the link for the result has not been updated by the Board yet, the state education minister Aruna Chaudhary released the merit list for the 12th exam in a press conference. Candidates can check their PSEB result by entering their registration details.

As per media reports, Puja Joshi from Ludhiana has topped the PSEB 12 th board. This year, the pass percentage for the exam is 65.97 per cent, which is an increase of around 3 per cent over the previous year. Like last year, girls with 78.2 per cent have outperformed boys with 60.46 per cent. The pass percentage for open school candidates is 40.07 per cent. A total of 3,00,417 students appeared for the exam, of which, 198, 199 have passed. 31,364 appeared from the Commerce stream, 2,12,945 from the Humanities stream and 55,976 from the Science stream.

The Punjab Board exam for class 12 was held from February 28 to March 24. However, the board had to re conduct the mathematics paper on March 31 after news that the paper was leaked surfaced.
