NEW DELHI: The Punjab Secondary Education Board (PSEB) has declared the PSEB Class 8 exam result 2024 on the official website, pseb.ac.in. Students who appeared for the Punjab Class 8 board exam 2024 can check the result using their roll number to download score card. The PSEB Class 8th exams 2024 were conducted from March 7 to 27.
As per reports, more than 3 lakh students cleared the examination and the passing percentage was 98,31%. Students will have to get at least 33% marks to pass the PSEB 8th exam 2024. Last year, 2,98,127 students appeared for the PSEB Class 8th exam, of which 2,92,206 cleared the exam. In terms of school types, government schools achieved a pass percentage of 97.88%, while non-government schools had a slightly higher pass rate at 99.12%. Aided schools reported a pass percentage of 94.44%. Students will get their Class 8 mark-sheet from the respective schools.
Candidates can also check the Punjab board Class 8 results using the SMS service. They can follow these steps to check the result:
- Open the SMS app on your mobile
- Type a message in the format: PB 8 <Roll No>.
- Send the text to 5676750.
- The board exam result 2024 will be sent to the phone number.

Students can follow these steps to check the board exam result 2024:
- Visit the official website
- Click on the ‘Class 8 result’ link
- A login window will appear on the screen.
- Enter your credentials such as roll no and application number in respective fields
- Click on the 'submit' button and the Class 8 result 2024 mark-sheet will appear on the screen
