The Punjab and Haryana High Court, in an interim order, has allowed Adesh University of Health Sciences, Bathinda to charge management quota fees for 50% government quota seats. The Punjab government has also revised the fee structure for MBBS admissions in private medical colleges for the academic year 2025.
On Tuesday, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS) opened the Punjab NEET UG counselling 2025 registration window for MBBS and BDS admission. Applicants will be allowed to submit their applications by July 24 and make the payment by July 25.
Along with the application fee, all candidates offered admission under state quota and all India quota (AIQ) are required to pay a service bond of Rs 20,00,000 (Rs 20 lakh).
The university conducts Punjab NEET counselling 2025 to fill 85% of the seats in government and private medical colleges in the state. The remaining 15% AIQ seats will be filled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

On July 7, the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which heard the case titled titled Adesh University and Other Vs State of Punjab and others, passed an interim order:
“..in the meantime, directions issued by the Co-ordinate Bench of the Court vide order dated 18.09.2020 (Annexure P-17) (in paragraphs 10 and 11 in CWP No. 14902 of 2020) shall also be applicable to the Petitioners qua 2025-2026 in this case To be heard along with CWP-14902-2020 and connected matters.”
The high court has given permission to Adesh University to collect fees prescribed for management quota even for 50% government quota seats. The differential fees, if any payable by the students, would be subject to the final outcome of the hearing, it said. Based on the interim order, the fee payable for government and management quota seats is given below.
