Punjab NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Round 1 college reporting deadline extended to December 7

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot has revised the college joining date for Punjab National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET PG) 2025 round 1. Candidates who have been allotted seats through the Punjab NEET PG 2025 round 1 allotment results must join their respective institutes between December 2 and 7.

The reporting dates were revised due to a technical oversight or syntax error in the Punjab NEET PG 2025 round 1 provisional result published on November 25. The provisional results for few candidates have been revised after necessary corrections.

“Due to technical oversight/syntax error in the 1st round PG Medical counseling provisional result published on 27.11.2025, the provisional result of following candidates is hereby revised after necessary corrections. The dates of joining are also hereby revised in consonance with the revised schedule released by the MCC and candidates will join the respective colleges/institutions from 02.12.2025 to 07.12.2025,” according to an official notice.

A total of 1,311 candidates were allotted seats through the Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling round 1 seat allotment results, along with 14 candidates who were allotted seats under the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota.

Moreover, the university will release the Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling round 2 schedule soon for admission to MD, MS and post graduate diploma courses.

In addition, candidates who have been allotted seats under round 1 counselling, and are not satisfied with the allotment, can upgrade, shift or change their seat by participating in round 2 counselling.

Those candidates will have to submit their willingness on the MCC’s official website and deposit the requisite refundable security amount.
