Punjab NEET PG round 2 counselling 2024 schedule out; registration begins on December 9

Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024: Candidates allotted seats in round 1 will be allowed to exercise the free exit facility by December 14. Round 2 seat allotment will be declared on December 21.
NEW DELHI: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot has announced the Punjab NEET PG round 2 counselling 2024 schedule for admission into MD, MS and other postgraduate medical courses. The tentative seat matrix for the second round of Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 will be displayed on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in, on December 9.
Candidates, who have been allotted seats in the round 1 counselling, will be allowed to surrender their seats before December 14 using the ‘free exit’ facility.
They will have to submit an application of surrendering the seat to the principal of the concerned medical college. After the free exit facility is closed, the round 2 vacancy will get updated automatically. The registration and fee payment process will commence on December 9 and will continue till December 12.
Students applying for government medical colleges will have to pay Rs 25,000 as security money, however, those belonging to scheduled caste (SC) or backward classes (BC) will have to pay only Rs 10,000. In case, a candidate to apply for private medical college or both government and private medical colleges, they will have to deposit Rs 2 lakh.
The university further instructed candidates applying under Sikh minority, Christian minority quota to report to the respective minority institution - SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar and Christian Minority College, Ludhiana for verification of minority status. However, those who have already got their minority status verified need not report again.
