NEW DELHI: The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, which is conducting the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling 2024, has warned aspirants of legal action and candidature cancellation over submission of fake documents and of admission applications in more than one state.

The university recently issued a list of candidates who have been debarred from NEET UG counselling 2024 for applying for admission in more than one state and submitting fake undertakings for the same. Meanwhile, Punjab NEET UG round 2 seat allotment result 2024 has been declared on bfuhs.ac.in.

“This is for the information of NEET UG aspirants 2024 desirous of seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses for the session 2024-2025 that any candidate if found to have submitted any false or fake document/claim benefit of reservation/category on the basis of false /fake documents (i.e caste or category certificate/Non-creamy certificate/Sports/EWS/Terrorist/Riot affected, ESM/FF, NRI certificate from Indian Embassy, bank details, etc will be liable for legal action and his/her candidature shall be cancelled immediately,” said BFUHS in an official statement.

The candidates will be debarred from taking medical admissions in future, it added.

Moreover, if any candidate has applied or will apply in more than one state for state quota seats then such candidate will be debarred for state quota MBBS seats in Punjab state for violation of terms and conditions of undertaking.

Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2024: List of debarred candidates

“It is for the information that parents of NEET UG 2024 aspirants of State of Punjab have sent several emails/complaints against the aspirants who have applied for admission under NEET UG 2024 in more than one state under violation of clause no 18 of notification and submitted false sworn declaration that they have not applied or will not apply for admission under NEET UG 2024 in any other state (other than Punjab) for state quota seats,” BFUHS said in another notice.

The following candidates have been debarred from Punjab NEET UG counselling 2024:

In a relief to these candidates, the university informed that their candidature shall be considered only for the following All India nature seats in Punjab NEET counselling:

  • AIQ seats in Christian medical/dental Colleges, Ludhiana (on all India basis)
  • Jammu and Kashmir migrant category seats (if applicable)
  • Minority quota (Sikh/Christian), if applied and verified by the concerned institutes
  • Leftover BDS seats after exhausting candidates who are eligible for Punjab state quota seats.
