QS World University Rankings 2021: IIM Bangalore ranked #1 for business and management studies

IIM Bangalore has been ranked number one for business and management studies in India, for the third time in a row, by QS World University Rankings 2021 by subject.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore has been ranked as the number one B-school in India for business and management studies, the third time in a row, in the QS World University Rankings 2021. The QS World University Rankings 2021 by Subject considers academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact to rate institutes worldwide.
“The business and management studies course offered by IIM Bangalore has the highest ratings in all three categories and has made IIMB the best B-School in India. IIMB's focus is on providing thought leadership through high-quality research and providing the environment to nurture innovative global business leaders through holistic and transformative education,” an IIMB statement said.
Rishikesha T Krishnan, director, IIM Bangalore said, “This is definitely a great achievement for IIMB and I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who made this possible. We have a high rating in academic reputation and H-index quote parameters, and this reflects our efforts in ensuring academic and research capabilities within the domain. I would like to congratulate all the other institutes that have been recognized by QS rankings.”
Quacquarelli Symonds has rated more than 5,500 universities covering 80 different locations around the world as the top 1000 universities in 51 categories. Positioned in the first 51-100 category, with a global rank of 76, in Business and Management Studies, is not only an achievement, but it also highlights the commitment of IIMB to embracing, innovating, and providing quality education, even in these challenging times, the statement added.
