QS World University Rankings: Chandigarh University best in Hospitality and Leisure Management in country
QS World University Rankings by Subjects 2024: Chandigarh University has also been ranked 9 and 11 in ‘Social Sciences and Management’, and ‘Engineering and Technology’ categories.

NEW DELHI: Chandigarh University has been ranked in two categories and four subjects in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024. The university secured the first position amongst Indian institutes in ‘Hospitality and Leisure Management’ subject. Chandigarh University was ranked in the 51-100 slot globally in the ranking conducted by the Quacquarelli Symonds.
In QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, Chandigarh University has been ranked 9 and 11 in the ‘Social Sciences and Management’ and the ‘Engineering and Technology’ categories. Overall, CU has secured rank 318 globally in Social Science and Management subjects. In Engineering and Technology it has been ranked 332.

Rank 10 in Computer Science and Information Systems: CU has been placed in the 251-300 ranking slot globally in this category. The university said it stands tall as a beacon of innovation in the digital age. The performance in QS ranking testifies the university’s prowess in nurturing tech talent and driving digital transformation worldwide, it added.
Rank 14 in Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing: The university’s programme has been ranked 351-400 globally. “From intricate machinery to cutting-edge aerospace technology, our engineering prowess knows no bounds,” the university said.
Rank 18 in Business and Management Studies: The overall global rank of CU in this subject was 451-500 slot. “Our commitment to excellence in business education earns us a top 20 spot on the national stage,” .CU said.
