Rajasthan department of school education included in world book of records

Rajasthan department of school education organised a state level mass event including 1.35 crore students from 33 districts singing patriotic songs.

NEW DELHI: Government of Rajasthan, department of school education gets involved in the world book of records today, November 16, 2022.

The department of education organised a state level mass drive using the 'Rajasthan ke shiksha main badate kadam' (RKSMBK) app from November 3 to 7, 2022. The drive included approximately 1.35 crore OCRs uploaded using Artificial Intelligence (AI) by teachers in the competency-based assessment of all the students studying in classes 3 to 8.

Cabinet minister of department of education, Bulaki Das Kalla tweeted on the occasion and said: "Certificate of World Book of Records awarded to School Education Department by Aditi Tank and Pratham Bhalla, representatives of World Book of Records, London for the program "Steps in Education of Rajasthan" under the efficient leadership of Honorable Shri Ashok ji Gehlot, Chief Minister."

The department also had their name registerd in the record for another state level mass event 'Samuhik Deshbhakti Geet' involving almost 1.12 crore students of classes 1 to 12 from 33 districts of Rajasthan simultaneously singing five patriotic songs and the Indian national anthem from 10:15 AM to 10:40 AM on August 12, 2022 celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
