Rajasthan government to recruit 10,000 English-medium teachers for Mahatma Gandhi schools

Rajasthan government has issued a notification on eligibility, selection process, salary of contractual teachers.
NEW DELHI : The Rajasthan government will recruit 10,000 English-medium teachers for Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools in rural areas, state education minister Bulaki Das Kalla announced on Tuesday. The teachers will be recruited on a contract basis.
ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में खोले गए महात्मा गांधी अंग्रेजी माध्यम विद्यालयों में विद्यार्थियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए 10,000 अंग्रेजी माध्यम के शिक्षकों की भर्ती की जाएगी
जिससे युवाओं को रोजगार के अवसर भी प्राप्त होंगे।

“On the basis of Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022, permission has been granted to recruit contractual teachers on 10,000 contractual posts,” said an official notification.

The notification added that on completion of their service period, these teachers will be provided with higher designation and salaries.

The government also notified the process of marking of these posts such as getting information about vacant posts from Mahatma Gandhi schools, preference to be given to recruitment of teachers in such schools where the availability of English medium teachers is less than 50% etc.
