The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 examination. Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana have secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 by scoring 715 out of 720 marks. The top performers were spread across eight states—Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Re-NEET 2026 result LIVE
Nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the June 21 examination that was conducted at 5,440 centres across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. Of them, 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission. More than 58 per cent of the qualified candidates are women, while most of the top-performing candidates are between 17 and 19 years of age.
A total of 138 candidates scored above 690 marks out of 720. More than 93 per cent of these top rankers appeared for NEET UG for the first time, and nearly 99 per cent belong to the 17–19 age group, highlighting the strong performance of first-time aspirants.
Category-wise data released by the NTA shows OBC-NCL recorded the highest number of qualified candidates, while over 2.91 lakh candidates qualified in the General category.

Along with the results, the NTA has announced the category-wise cut-off percentiles and marks for Re-NEET UG 2026. The table below provides the qualifying criteria and the number of successful candidates.
