Re-NEET 2026 final answer key out; NTA drops 4 questions, result soon

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026. Over 20 lakh who appeared in June 21 re-exam and check and download the final key now. Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their scores. For every correct answer, four marks will be awarded, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Considering the objections raised against provisional answer key, the testing agency has dropped a total of four questions in final key. Candidates will be awarded full marks for dropped questions. The final answer key has been published in PDF format and can be accessed without any login credentials.

NTA has dropped one question from each test booklet. Question 26 has been dropped from test booklet code 50, question 43 from test booklet code 60, question 40 from test booklet code 70, and question 2 from test booklet code 80. As per the NTA's marking policy, all candidates will be awarded full marks (+4) for the dropped question, irrespective of whether they attempted it or not.

Candidates can follow these steps to download NEET UG 2026 final answer key

• Visit the official NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in
• On the homepage, look for public notices section
• Click on the link that reads, "Final Answer Keys for NEET (UG) – 2026 Re-Examination"
• Final answer key will open up on screen
• Check the correct answers
• Download and save the PDF for future references

NEET 2026 result tonight?

With the final answer key now out, the Re-NEET UG 2026 result is expected to be announced soon. While the NTA has not confirmed the result date or time, previous years' trends suggest it could be declared as early as tonight. Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates.
