NEW DELHI: The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) will close the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET 2025) registration window today at midnight. The REET exam will be conducted on February 27 to determine the eligibility for teacher recruitment for Classes 1 to 8.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the exam, the board held several meetings and made some changes to the eligibility test. As per the schedule, the REET exam will be held in a single in two shifts - shift 1 will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm and shift 2 from 3 pm to 5.30 pm.
The Rajasthan Board introduced negative marking and changes in the OMR rule, besides deciding to hold the exam on a single day. The RBSE REET exam will have 5 options for a question instead of four. Will deduct ⅓ marks out of the total marks awarded to a question for every wrong answer, as per the marking scheme.
The REET exam 2025 will be held for two levels - REET level 1 is conducted for awarding eligibility certificates for candidates desirous of teaching Classes 1 to 5 and REET level 2 is held for determining the eligibility to recruit teachers for Classes 6 to 8.
