RGNUL appoints Professor Anand Pawar new officiating Vice-Chancellor
Professor Anand Pawar's appointment as officiating VC in RGNUL is followed by the selection of Professor GS Bajpai as VC of NLUD.

NEW DELHI: The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, gets new officiating Vice-Chancellor in Professor (Dr) Anand Pawar, registrar. His appointment as officiating Vice-Chancellor is followed by the selection of Professor (Dr) GS Bajpai as Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Delhi.
Professor (Dr.) Anand Pawar, Registrar, RGNUL has assumed charge following an order by Justice Ravi Shanker Jha, Chief Justice, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and Chancellor, RGNUL, Punjab on February 27, 2023.

Professor Pawar has held a number of leadership positions at RGNUL which include Controller of Examination, Dean Student Welfare, Chief Warden, Coordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Coordinator of Student Exchange and Memorandum of Understanding and many more. He has served as officiating Vice-Chancellor at RGNUL from December 2020 to May 2021 and twice at HNLU, Raipur during 2010 to 2011. He has also served as officiating Registrar at HNLU, Raipur.
Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai was serving as the Vice-Chancellor of RGNUL, Punjab. He has previously served as the Registrar, National Law University Delhi. He has also served as Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice (Law); Chair Professor at K.L Arora Chair in Criminal Law.

Prof. Bajpai has authored twenty one books/monographs; more than fifty papers, as per profgsbajpai.in website. He is the editor of two prestigious international journals: Journal of Victimology & Victim Justice (published by Sage Publications) and Indian Journal of Criminology, a publication of Indian Society of Criminology since 1972.
