RMO 2023: Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2nd stage tentative score shortly; schedule

NEW DELHI: The Homi Bhabha Centre For Science Education (HBSCE) announced to declare the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) 2023-2024 second stage tentative scores on November 27, however, it has not been out yet. Students who appeared in the exam can expect the results to be out soon on the official website, olympiads.hbcse.tifr.res.in.

In the 2023-2024 cycle, the selection to the International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) will be done in three stages. The third stage of Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) will be conducted on January 21 from 12 noon to 4.30 pm. There will be a total of 6 questions.

In the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2023), a six-member team representing India has secured six medals – two gold, two silver and two bronze - in July.

The HBCSE-TIFR is the nodal centre for selecting students for the international olympiads. The final team is selected through various stages of the National Olympiad Examination conducted by HBCSE.

RMO 2023 second stage dates

Candidates can check the schedule for the second stage of Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO).

A student has to score at least 10% of the total marks of the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM 2023) paper in order to be eligible to appear for RMO 2023 but this is not the sole qualifying criterion. They will also receive IOQM certificate.
