NEW DELHI: The Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued the notification for the recruitment of sub-inspectors (SI) and constables in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). Candidates can check the eligibility criteria and other important details about the RPF recruitment 2024 on the official website at rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.

This recruitment drive is planning to fill 2,000 openings for constable jobs and 250 vacancies for SI in RPF and RPSF. In total, 10% of vacancies have been reserved for ex-servicemen, while 15% are reserved for women candidates.

Candidates will be selected based on their overall performance in the computer-based test (CBT), physical efficiency test (PET), and physical standard test (PST).

RPF Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to apply for the RPF recruitment 2024 for constable and SI positions, candidates should meet the following age and educational requirements.

  • The age limit should be between 18-27 years, with relaxation for OBC, SC, and ST categories.

  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an authorised university with qualifying marks in any field.

  • The candidate must have completed 10th grade from a state or central board.

  • Final year graduates are also eligible for RPF SI vacancy 2024.
