RPSC RAS 2021 Exam Today: Mobile internet to remain shut in Jaipur till 1 pm today

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission will conduct the preliminary stage of the RPSC RAS exam from 10 am to 1 pm today, October 27.
NEW DELHI: Mobile internet services, including social media services, will remain suspended from 9 am to 1 pm today in Jaipur to prevent paper leakage, cheating in the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) examination.
According to the official notice, “2G/3G/4G mobile internet, internet services,bulk SMS/MMS, WhatsApp, FB, Twitter and other social media services via Internet Service providers (except voice calls,broadband internet) will be suspended from 9 am-1 pm today in Jaipur Police Commissionerate area,” ANI reported.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission will conduct the preliminary stage of the RPSC RAS exam from 10 am to 1 pm today, October 27.
This year, the RPSC RAS exam 2021 is being held to fill in 988 vacancies under the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services. The preliminary exam will be conducted in OMR based offline mode. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the mains exam which will be in descriptive mode and the last stage of the selection process is the personality test.
Several districts in Rajasthan faced 12-hour mobile internet shutdown on October 23 and 24 on account of the Patwari recruitment exam.
Last month too, Rajasthan saw an unprecedented shutdown of internet services during the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET) exam. Soon after the exam, the police arrested people allegedly involved in REET 2021 paper leak case.
