RPSC RAS Vacancy 2024: Final selection will be based on candidates' performance in the mains exam and interview.

NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has revised the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) 2024 recruitment exam vacancy. As per the official notice, the commission has increased the RPSC RAS 2024 vacancy to 1,096 including 428 state services and 668 subordinate services posts.
“Regarding these posts, a corrigendum (number 21/2024-25) has been released with a revised category-wise classification for a total of 1,096 posts (state services – 428 and subordinate services – 668) as received from the personnel department (K-4/2),” the English translation of official notice said.
Initially, RPSC announced 733 vacancies for administrative services posts, allocating 346 for the state services exam and 387 for subordinate services posts. The notification for RPSC RAS 2024 revised vacancy is also available on the commission's official website at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
The commission conducted the RPSC RAS 2024 prelims exam on February 2, 2025. The exam was held in a single shift from 12 pm to 3 pm. The RPSC RAS answer key 2024 was issued on February 3, 2025, and candidates were allowed to raise objections till February 5, 2025.
The RPSC RAS preliminary exam is qualifying in nature, and candidates who clear it will be eligible to appear for the mains exam. The commission is yet to announce the RPSC RAS 2024 mains exam date. Final selection will be based on candidates' performance in the RPSC RAS 2024 mains exam and interview.

The RPSC RAS 2024 mains exam will have four sections. Each section will have an exam duration of three hours. Candidates who appeared for the prelims exam can check the RPSC RAS mains exam pattern 2024 from the table below.
