RPSC RAS Prelims Exam 2021 begins; candidates wear mask, take other precautions
RPSC is conducting the RAS 2021 exam for the prelims stage. The RPSC exam is being conducted in offline mode. Candidates without masks and those who didn't follow COVID-19 SOPs were not allowed to enter the exam centre.

NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is conducting the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) for the preliminary stage today. The RPSC RAS 2021 exam is being conducted across various exam centres in the state of Rajasthan. The RPSC exam is being conducted in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm in offline mode.
Candidates with a valid RPSC admit card , photo ID and masks were only allowed to enter inside the exam hall. The security checks were conducted at the entrance of the exam centre in detail. Aspirants with no mask were asked to wear it. The thermal check ups were done for each candidate and aspirants were asked to stand in queue and maintain social distance.

Aspirants were asked to not carry their smartphones, smartwatches or any other valuable items inside the exam hall.

At few RPSC exam centres there was a locker facility available, but at maximum centres, aspirants were asked to hand over their belongings to their guardians or accompanies.

The RPSC exam centre gates were opened 10 minutes before the exam commenced.

The RPSC exam was conducted in objective type mode where the question paper was asked in offline mode and aspirants were given an OMR-sheet to enter their responses.

Once aspirants were seated they were given the attendance sheet to fill followed by the OMR answer sheet where they had to fill their name and roll number.
This year the RPSC exam is being conducted to fill in 988 vacancies. The application form for the RPSC exam was released on August 4 and the last date to apply was September 2, 2021. The RPSC RAS is the state civil service examination which is conducted to fill in Grade A and B posts within the borders of the Rajasthan state department.
