RRB ALP CBT 1 exam 2026 schedule announced; exam from November 3

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the schedule for the RRB ALP CBT 1 exam 2026 under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN). The RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) CBT 1 examination will be held from November 3 to 5.

According to the official notification, the boards will issue the RRB ALP CBT 1 exam 2026 exam city slip and the admit card tentatively 10 days before the recruitment exam begins.

Notably, the e-call letter will be published on the RRBs official website at rrbapply.gov.in for download four days before the exam date. Moreover, the exam city and date information will be issued before the e-call letter, the notification read.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Examination 2026: Recruitment Process

The RRBs have also announced that the Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be mandatory for candidates at the examination centre.

They will have to complete the authentication process before entering the examination hall and carry their e-verified Aadaar card to the test centre, it added.

“Those who have not completed Aadhaar verification can do so by logging in with their credentials through the official RRB application portal, rrbapply.gov.in,” the notice read.

Those who have completed Aadhaar verification during the application process should also ensure that their Aadhaar will be unlocked in the UIDAI system before appearing for the test, it added.

Candidates appearing for the RRB ALP CBT 1 exam 2026, should note that their selection will be done on the basis of prescribed recruitment process, including the Computer Based Test, and merit.

The Railway board has also advised candidates to not rely on the unauthorised sources and always check official RRB websites for recruitment-related announcements.
