RRB ALP registration window closes today; apply for 5,696 vacancies

NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will close the registration window for recruiting Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts today. Eligible candidates can fill out the RRB ALP application form 2024 by visiting the official website at recruitmentrrb.in. The application form correction window will be open from February 20 to 29.
The RRB recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 5,696 assistant loco pilot vacancies. Candidates from the unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will have to pay Rs 250 as the RRB ALP application fee. The candidates from all the categories will have to pay an application form modification fee of Rs 250.
“In case of modifying the community from SC, ST to UR or OBC or EWS, candidates will have to pay the difference in examination fee in addition to the modification fee. In case of failure to do so, candidates' modified application will not be accepted,” the official notice read.
To be eligible for the RRB ALP exam 2024, candidates should be in the age group 18 to 30 years old as of July 1, 2024. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates.
The candidates will have to go through five stages of the selection process including computer-based test (CBT-1), CBT-2, computer-based aptitude test (CBAT), document verification and medical examination.

Complete the registration process and proceed with the application

Fill out the application form by providing basic details

Upload all the necessary documents and pay the application fee

Download the application fee and take a printout for future reference.
