RRB Group D recruitment 2018: Know test schedule, admit card date and marking scheme

New Delhi, September 7: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) has released the official notification for RRB Group D. According to the notification, the exam is scheduled to start on September 17, 2018. Aspirants would be intimated about their exam cities, dates and shifts on September 9, 2018. Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories can download their train travel passes from September 10 onwards.
As the exam is being conducted in the computer based mode, the authority will facilitate candidates with mock tests from September 10, 2018. Candidates can use the mock test to understand the overall process of how to take an online test.
The RRB Group D is held across multiple days and slots. The admit card for the same would be released four days prior from candidates' exam days. The admit card can be downloaded online by submitting exam user id and password. The RRB Group D admit card will have two parts-a candidate’s copy, to be retained by candidates and an RRB copy, which has to submitted to the exam invigilator at the time of verification. Moreover, candidates have to carry any one of the mentioned identity proof along with admit card on the exam day. The photo identity proof to be carried to the exam hall are Voter Card, Aadhaar Card/printout of Aadhaar, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a Govt. Employee, School / College / University Photo ID card.
In an earlier notification, examination authority has released the exam pattern of RRB Group D 2018. As per the notice, the duration of the exam will be 90 minutes for all candidates while 120 minutes for PwD candidates. There will be a total 100 multiple choice questions. For each incorrect response one-third marks will be deducted. The details related to section wise distribution of questions are given below.
