RRB JE 2025: Application opens for 2,569 junior engineer posts; initial salary Rs 35,400

RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025: The registration link for CBT-1 exam is now available on the official website, rrbapply.gov.in. Guidelines to fill application form.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has opened the application form for the posts of junior engineer, depot material superintendent, chemical and metallurgical assistant. Candidates can apply for the RRB JE exam 2025 on the official website, rrbapply.gov.in.
A total 2,569 posts will be filled through the RRB Junior Engineer recruitment 2025. The vacancies are announced under pay level 6 of the 7th CPC, with an initial pay of Rs 35,400. The age limit is 18 to 33 years as of January 1, 2026.
Candidates will be allowed to register using their RRB account credentials or using Aadhaar card details. They can only choose one RRB and indicate their preference for railway zones and posts notified.
In the first phase, the computer-based test (CBT) will be conducted to shortlist candidates for document verification and medical examination. The shortlisting of candidates will be done RRB-wise at the rate of 1:1 of the vacancies for that RRB.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, ex-servicemen, PwBD, female, transgender, minorities or economically backward class (EBC) will have to pay Rs 250 as exam fee. All other candidates will have to pay Rs 500.

RRB JE 2025: How to register?
“Candidates who have already created an account for any CEN issued by RRB in 2024 or 2025 are not required to register again. They should login using the same username and password,” the railway board said.
Details filled in the ’Create an Account’ form, including mobile number and email ID, cannot be
modified at any stage once the account is created. If an applicant chooses to login using Aadhaar details, they are required to enter their Aadhaar-linked mobile number. A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the details in the space provided to proceed to application form.
If a candidate already has an RRB account, enter a mobile number or email address and the password generated earlier.
