RRB JE CBT 2 exam on April 22; city slip link to be activated 10 days before

NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the Computer-Based Test (CBT) 2 exam date for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment 2024. The RRB JE CBT 2 exam is scheduled to be held on April 22. Candidates can download their RRB JE CBT 2 admit card four days before the exam date.
“Downloading of E-Call letters will start 4 days prior to exam date mentioned in Exam City and Date intimation LINK,” the official notice said. The notice further stated that the link to view the exam city and date and download of travel authority for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will be activated 10 days before the exam on the official websites of all RRBs.
A total of 20,792 candidates are shortlisted for RRB JE CBT 2 exam. Candidates who qualify in the CBT 1 will only be eligible to appear for the RRB JE CBT 2 exam. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,951 vacancies for various posts, including junior engineer, depot material superintendent, chemical & metallurgical assistant, chemical supervisor (research), and metallurgical supervisor (research).
As per the official notice, candidates will undergo Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at the exam center before entering the exam hall. Candidates should carry their original Aadhaar card or a printout of the e-verified Aadhaar. Those who have not yet completed Aadhaar verification are advised to do so by logging in with their credentials at www.rrbapply.gov.in to ensure a smooth entry into the examination center.
