Railway Ministry warns candidates against fake notice on RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam dates

The fake notice says that the RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam for candidates shortlisted for pay levels 5, 3, 2 will be held on May 19, 20, June 13, 14, 15, 16.
NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Railways has warned candidates against a fake notice being circulated about the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC CBT-2 exam schedule . The fake notice claiming to be from the RRB, Ministry of Railways says that second stage Computer-Based Test (CBT)-2 for candidates who get shortlisted for pay levels 5, 3 and 2 in CBT -1 is scheduled to be held on May 19, 20, June 13, 14, 15, 16, 2022 subject to prevailing conditions.

“Fake notices are being circulated with regards to the Railway Recruitment Board’s CBT-2. Whereas no such notice has been published by the Railways. Be Alert and Beware of such FAKE claims,” the Railway Ministry tweeted.

The fake notice went on to say that the “candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources.”
“Beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates.

According to the official website, the RRB NTPC exam 2021-22 phase 2 is tentatively scheduled to be held on May 9 and 10, 2022. RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam will be held only for the candidates shortlisted in CBT-1 exam. A total of 6,56,295 candidates have been selected for Level 2, Level 3, Level 5 and Level 6 as per the revised result of RRB NTPC CBT 1 .
RRB NTPC exam schedule for pay levels 2, 3 and 5 will be announced later. RRB NTPC CBT-1 exam was held from December 20, 2020 to July 31, 2021 and the result was declared from March 30 to April 1, 2022 at the RRB official website.
