RRB NTPC Notification 2019 Revised; Vacancies Increased to 44,531 from 35,277

NEW DELHI, MARCH 2: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have revised the notification of RRB NTPC 2019, adding more vacancies for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). However, the revised notification has been released on RRB Patna’s official website only. According to the RRB Patna officials, the examination will now be conducted for 44,531 vacancies in lieu of the earlier announced 35,277. RRB NTPC application form 2019 has been released on March 1, while the last date for application filling is March 31.

According to the revised notification, 30,471 vacancies have now been announced for graduate posts, while 14,060 vacancies have been declared for the 12 th level posts. Earlier, 24,649 vacancies were announced for graduate level posts, while 10,628 vacancies were declared for the 12 th level posts. This means that the boards have now increased the vacancies for graduate level posts by 5822, whereas the vacancies for 12 th level posts have been increased by 3432.

The graduate level posts have been announced for Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master, while the 12 th level posts have been declared for the recruitment of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk.
This is for the third time that RRBs are revising the number of vacancies and the number of vacancies is further expected to go up. First,
on February 23, RRBs released it’s short notification wherein it had announced a total of 1,30,000 vacancies
for NTPC, Para-Medical Staff, Ministerial and Isolated Category and Level 1 posts. Out of the total vacancies, 30,000 were announced for NTPC, Para-Medical Staff and Ministerial and Isolated Category. The remaining 1,00,000 vacancies were announced for Level 1 posts.
Then on March 1, the RRBs declared a total of 35,277 vacancies for NTPC alone . This was contrary to the earlier notified 30,000 vacancies for NTPC, Para-Medical Staff, Ministerial and Isolated Category. It must be noted here that the vacancies for Para-Medical Staff and Ministerial and Isolated Categories are yet to be announced.

Further, today, on March 2, RRB Patna has released the revised notification with 9254 more vacancies for graduate level and 12 th level posts in NTPC.
