RRB Technician registration begins for 9,144 vacancies; apply by April 8

NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has begun the application form-filling process for the post of Technician grade 1 and grade 3 today, March 9. The last date to fill out the RRB Technician 2024 registration form is April 8. The application form correction window will open from April 9 to 18.

The RRB recruitment drive aims to fill out a total of 9,144 technician posts. Out of this, 1,092 posts are reserved for grade 1 posts and 8,052 posts are reserved for grade 3 posts. Eligible candidates can fill out the RRB application form through the official website at rrbapply.gov.in.

Candidates from the unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to register for the RRB Technician post. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will have to pay Rs 250 as the application fee. The candidates from all the categories will have to pay an application form modification fee of Rs 250.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for RRB Technician recruitment 2024 is given in the table below.

RRB Technician grade 1	The candidate’s age should be between 18 years old to 36 years old. Candidates should have completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in physics, electronics, computer science, information technology, and instrumentation from a recognized university. Candidates should have completed a three-year diploma in engineering in the above basic streams or a combination of any of the above basic streams or a degree in engineering in the above basic streams or a combination of any of the above basic streams.
RRB Technician grade 3	The candidate’s age should be between 18 years old to 33 years old. Candidates should have completed Class 10 with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) from any recognized institutions of the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) in the trade of forger and heat treater, foundryman, pattern maker, moulder or should have completed Class 10 with apprenticeship in the related trades.

Visit the RRB official website at rrbapply.gov.in
On the homepage, look for the “Apply Online-Recruitment of Technician 2024’.” tab.
Now, fill out the registration form by providing the necessary details.
Complete the application process by providing the necessary details.
Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
Submit the RRB Technician application form and take a printout for future reference.
