S Chand Group organises Finland visit for 35 school delegates
The Finland EduVisit was started in 2016 to explore strategies and ideas of the Finnish education system.

NEW DELHI: S Chand Group, a publishing company, organised its 5th Finland EduVisit 2023 under which 35 delegates from various educational institutions visited Finland.
These 35-members explored the Finnish education system and school leadership during the seven-day long visit. The delegates gained firsthand knowledge of innovative methodologies and administrative strategies employed in the education system of Finland.

The delegates in the programmes included Saayan Kunal, director of Gyan Niketan, Patna; Ganesh Preetha, vice-president of Vels Group of Institutions, Chennai; Ayushman Singh, assistant director of Sant Atulanand Convent School; and Kirthi Manghnani, vice-chairperson of New Horizon International School, Bengaluru.
Priya Malhotra, marketing head of S Chand Group, said, "We started this initiative in 2016 with an objective to explore and understand what makes the Finnish education system so good. The Finnish education system's student-centric approach and holistic strategies have left a profound impact on our delegates. Our educators are keen on implementing some of the insightful policies in their own institutes to foster a more enriching educational environment."

The S Chand group aims at exploring the Finnish education system and incorporating some of the strategies, ideas of the Finnish schools that fit into our scope of school education, she added. “The exchange of ideas and practices between education leaders is crucial for the evolution of education globally," Malhotra added.
