Sainik school entrance exam 2019; exam day guidelines

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 2, 2019 : The Sainik School Society will conduct the AISSEE 2019 exam on January 6, 2019 to select candidates for admission to classes 6 and 9 in all 28 Sainik schools across the country. It will be conducted in the offline mode. Here is all that you must know regarding what to carry and how to mark answers on OMR sheet. OMR sheet will be evaluated by software hence you should follow all the instructions carefully.
What to carry on exam day?

Instruction for appearing in the AISSEE 2019 exam

Candidates must carry admit card/hall ticket as identification to the exam hall else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Students are suggested to reach the exam centre half an hour prior to the beginning of the exam and check their sitting plan.

Any candidate found involved in the act of unfair practices will be barred from writing the exam.

Any book, written note, mobile, bag and any other belongings are not allowed in the exam hall, so candidates are advised to avoid carrying them.
Instructions to be followed while marking on OMR Answer Sheet

Use only black or blue ballpoint pen to fill the details in the boxes and bubbles. Answers marked with pencils might not get recognized by the scanner.

Fill all details in the boxes and darken bubbles carefully.

Don't put a tick mark or a cross mark where you have to fill the bubbles completely. Half-filled or over-filled bubbles will not be read by the software.

Don’t use blade, fluid/eraser and stickers on the OMR sheet. Do not fold the answer sheet or make any stray marks.

Write one character in a box while filling name and other details.

Write name and other details only in Block/Capital letters.

Ensure that all details are filled correctly and sharply on OMR Sheet.

There is only one correct answer for each question. Questions with two or more answers will be treated as wrong.

Rough work must be done on the additional sheets only and not on OMR answer sheet.
The result of AISSEE 2019 will be released on February 4, 2019. The students who qualify the written test will be called for an interview and medical test. The final Sainik school result 2019 will be released on March 11, 2019 in the form of merit list in pdf format.
