NEW DELHI: Saintgits College of Engineering Kottayam has started the application process for the BTech programme in online mode. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can visit the SCE official website - saintgits.org/saintgits-college-of-engineering and complete the SCE BTech registration 2024 by submitting all the required details. To complete the Saintgits College of Engineering BTech application process, applicants need to pay the application fee of Rs. 200.

SCE admission is strictly on the basis of merit, and a merit list for admission will be prepared, and selection will be in the order of merit through online counselling. Saintgits College of Engineering BTech Eligibility Criteria

  • Admission to B.Tech. will be based on the guidelines given by the state and central governments on the reservation. Candidates must have passed the 12th or equivalent from a recognised board.

  • Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects, with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects, are eligible for government allotments.

Saintgits College of Engineering BTech Admissions 2024: Selection process

  • Admission is strictly on the basis of merit. 50% of the total seats in B.Tech. courses are set aside for centralised allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. 15% of seats within the sanctioned intake are provided for the NRI Category and given based on marks obtained for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Standard.

  • For the management merit seats, the rank list is prepared based on index marks obtained by combining the percentage marks of mathematics and physics at the class 12th level and/or the percentage score obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. The marks obtained in the State Board/CBSE/ICSE for each subject are normalized about the highest marks obtained by applicants from the respective Board

  • A merit list for admission will be prepared, and selection will be in the order of merit through online counselling. Individual intimations with the date and time for online counselling will be sent to all successful applicants through email.
