SAME starts Aircraft Maintenance Engineering registration at igesame.com; eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (SAME) has started Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) programme registration on the official website, igesame.com/admissions. The SAME is offering 120 seats of the AME course. Students will be informed about the online and interview dates through the registered email ID.
Students who have completed Class 12 with physics, chemistry and Maths from a recognised board or university. A doctor holding an MBBS degree must certify physical fitness and eye fitness of the candidate. Students applying for the AME programme will have to pay a Rs 500 application fee. Those applying through offline mode will have to pay Rs 1,000 as registration free.
SAME has been promoted by the InterGlobe Group (IndiGo) and established under InterGlobe Education Services (IGES). It provides two-year aircraft maintenance courses in aeroplane turbine and Avionics. It has 12 well-equipped and spacious workshops.
The SAME campus also houses a fully equipped library, auditorium, and modern teaching aids to add to the overall campus experience. All the training facilities at SAME have been built in line with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation’s latest requirements.
SAME also provides placement assistance to its students and has a long-term agreement with InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for practical training at an aircraft maintenance facility, as required by the DGCA.
