Apply NowThe College Board has opened the registrations for the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) on its official website at collegeboard.org. Students seeking admission to undergraduate programmes at foreign universities can register for the SAT 2026 test by August 7.

The August deadline for SAT 2026 is for the exam, scheduled on August 22. As per the schedule for the SAT 2026 examination, the aptitude test will be held on different dates for the academic year 2026-27.
Meenakshi Kachroo Chatta, senior director and regional head, South and Central Asia at College Board, said: “The digital SAT continues to offer greater flexibility and a testing experience aligned with how students learn today. I want to tell students to plan early, use official preparation resources, and approach the test with confidence.”
Over 4,000 universities and colleges accept SAT 2026 scores for admission to its UG programmes.

As per the eligibility criteria, there is no minimum or maximum age requirement. The registrations are open to Class 11 and 12 students. While, gap-year students applying to universities abroad are also eligible to apply.
