SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2019 Begins for 8693 Vacancies; Know Details Here

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 10: The mains exam of SBI Clerk 2019 has begun in online mode.The test is being conducted by State Bank of India (SBI) for the recruitment of 8693 candidates into its clerical cadre. SBI Clerk mains exam is being held at various centres across India. However, the mains exam at Srinagar, Jammu and Samba has been deferred due to some unavoidable circumstances. Also, the exam for centres at Belgaum (Karnataka), Kolhapur (Maharashtra) and Kerala has also been deferred due to incessant rains and floods.

Candidates who have passed the prelims exam and have their mains admit card have only been allowed to appear for the SBI Clerk mains exam. In this exam, candidates are being tested for General /Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Computer Aptitude and their command over General English. For completing the test, candidates have been given 2 hours 30 minutes. The total marks for which the mains exam is being held is 200 wherein for each wrong response 0.25 marks are being deducted.
Candidates who will secure marks equal to or more than the category wise state cut off of SBI Clerk determined by the examination authority will be considered qualified and will be recruited as Clerks at SBI.
SBI Clerk exam is conducted in two stages - prelims and mains. Candidates who qualify in the prelims exam have to appear for the mains exam and those who qualify for the mains exam are considered qualified. SBI Clerk 2019 prelims exam was held on June 22, 23, 30, 2019. This year, SBI Clerk exam is being conducted for a total of 8693 vacancies (including special recruitment drive).
