New Delhi, September 21: State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the SBI Clerk Mains 2018 result on September 21. SBI Clerk 2018 mains result carries the roll numbers of the qualified candidates in the PDF file. As per the official data, as many as 7954 candidates have qualified the mains exam of SBI Clerk 2018. The provisionally selected candidates are being informed separately through SMS too. They will be given instructions for the further procedure by SBI Local Head Office of their respective states later. The SBI Clerk mains exam was held on August 5 in the computer-based mode for approximately 96,330 candidates, who qualified the preliminary exam.

Candidates, who have been selected as Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales), in State Bank of India have to produce class 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate as proof of having studied the specified opted local language. If any candidate fails to produce the certificate/mark sheet then they have to appear for a local language test, which will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining.
Candidates are being selected on the basis of marks obtained in the mains exam. Final selection of candidates will be done after fulfilling the following criteria.

Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the application form

Qualifying in the test of specified opted local language, wherever applicable
State Bank of India will also maintain a waitlist of up to 50% of State-wise and Category wise vacancies. This list will be used on a quarterly basis against non-joining and resignation of candidates. The wait list will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of final result.
SBI Clerk exam 2018 was held in two phases preliminary and mains for the appointment of approximately 9,633 Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre posts.
