SBI Clerk prelims result 2018 declared at sbi.co.in; know how to check

New Delhi, July 24: State Bank of India has declared the result for SBI Clerk prelims exam 2018 in online mode on July 24. The recruitment exam was held on June 23, 24 and 30. Candidates, who have taken the prelims exam can now check their result. It must be noted that the prelims result of SBI Clerk 2018 exam has been declared only for the candidates who have qualified the test. In order to check the prelims result, candidates need to enter roll number and date of birth or registration number and date of birth in the login window.

Candidates qualifying in the prelims exam, will be considered eligible for appearing in the mains exam, which is the second stage of the recruitment procedure. However, only those candidates will qualify the exam who will be able to secure equal to or more than the sectional and overall cutoff in the prelims exam.
It must be noted that the result of prelims and mains exam is declared separately. Post qualifying the prelims exam, for 8301 vacancies, as many as 83010 candidates will be filtered for mains exam.
SBI Clerk mains exam will be held on August 5, while its result is expected to be announced after a couple of weeks in August. However, the exact date for the result announcement of the mains exam has not been declared yet.
Candidates must note that only marks secured in mains exam will be considered for selecting candidates in the clerical cadre. According to the official notification, there will be no interviews for recruitment of candidates in clerical cadre.
SBI Clerk exam is held for the appointment of approximately 8,301 Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre posts.
