SBI PO 2018 Result: SBI declares revised result; 45 duplicate registrations removed

NEW DELHI, JULY 17: The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced revised result of SBI PO prelims 2018 after Careers360 figured out that there existed multiple duplicate registration numbers in the resul t PDF. Earlier, with the result announcement of SBI PO prelims, it was found that page 11 of the result PDF carried duplicate entries for as many as 15 registration numbers.

In other words, all the 15 registration numbers were repeated thrice on page 11 of the result. Candidates can check the new result from the official website sbi.co.in.

After realising their mistake, SBI has now declared the revised result. Check the revised result from the image below.
Along with the revised result for the preliminary examination, the SBI officials have issued a corrigendum which reads, “ Some Registration numbers of the PO Preliminary exam results published earlier today were repeated. We sincerely regret the same. Please see the rectified list in the above link.”

SBI PO 2018 prelims examination was held in online mode on July 1, 7 and 8. As per the result of SBI PO, as many as 21,678 candidates have qualified in prelims for appearing in the mains exam against a total of 2118 vacancies. These 21,678 candidates will no w appear in SBI PO mains exam on August 4.
SBI PO is held every year for the recruitment of Probationary Officers across the different branches of the bank, as per the requirement .
