After nearly 12 days of closure due to recent hostilities, schools near the Line of Control and International Border in Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu, Samba, and Kathua districts have reopened.
According to the officials, during the NVS and JSA competitive exam held in the first shift, an electronic device was recovered from a candidate, which the candidate had hidden in his shoes.
A police official said the alleged incident occurred in the Kazikheda village on Friday and the student's parents filed a complaint the next day.
The SOP also includes strict warnings against hoax threats and mentions that legal action will be taken against those responsible for false alarms.
"Only one in four women with an information technology degree took up digital occupations in the European Union, compared with over one in two men," an official said.
The robotics in Class 10th ICT textbooks will include circuit construction, utilising sensors and actuators, and controlling electronic devices using computer programming, K Anvar Sadath, CEO of KITE and Chairman of the ICT Textbook Committee, said.
Resource Persons have been directed to visit two to four internship sites daily to assess training quality. Their duties include monitoring student participation, checking task relevance to the vocational trade, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Schools have also been directed to organise awareness seminars and workshops on the matter. The board stated that a brief report, along with a few photographs, should be uploaded by the schools before July 15.
The hill areas follow a different school calendar in which vacations coincide with the monsoon. The new semester system and changes in syllabus have added to the problem.
