NEET UG Counselling 2026 LIVE: MCC round 3 registration starts today; seat allotment on Sep 30

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the NEET UG counselling 2026 round 3 registration from September 22 onwards. Candidates can apply for MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 round 3 admissions on the official website at mcc.nic.in.

As per the MCC round 3 dates, the NEET UG round 3 registration and fee payment will end on September 27. Candidates will be able to fill and lock their choices from September 23 to 28, while the round 3 seat allotment result will be declared on September 30.

Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to their respective institutes between October 1 to 9. MCC counselling covers 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100% seats of deemed universities, central universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.

Recently, the National Medical Commission (NMC) revised the MBBS seat matrix and added 13,186 MBBS seats in 836 private and government medical colleges for the academic year 2026-27. For admissions, NMC offers 1,40,214 seats across the country.

MCC NEET stray round counselling 2026

MCC will conduct NEET UG stray round counselling for seats remaining vacant after round 3 counselling. The NEET UG stray round counselling registration and payment will begin on October 12 and continue till October 14. NEET UG stray round choice filling will be available from October 12 to 15, and the stray vacancy seat allotment result will be declared on October 17.
